Transfer In Students

If you are already in the United States in Non-Immigrant Student status (hold F1 VISA), you MUST follow these transfer procedures in order to remain in-status during your transfer from your   current school to Albert Career School. If you do not correctly transfer to our school you may be out of status.  Out of status means you are in the United States illegally.

ADMITTANCE APPLICATION TO ALBERT

1.  Completion of: 
  • ESL Application;
  • Registration Form;
  • Financial Certification;
  • Copy of Visa, Passport and, I-94 card for the student & dependents;
  • Copies of all I-20 from all prior schools;
  • Student Transfer Eligibility form;
  • Enrollment Agreement (to be signed in the presence of an Albert representative);
  • F1 Student Roles and Responsibilities form; 
  • Acceptable Use of Electronic Devises form.
2.  Payment of appropriate tuition and fees

3.  An acceptance or denial letter will be issued to you within 4 to 10 days of your application date.






APPLICATIONS ARE NOT REVIEWED UNLESS ALL OF THE ABOVE 
DOCUMENTS ARE RECEIVED BY ALBERT CAREER SCHOOL

TRANSFER IN PROCEDURES

4)  Albert will fax the acceptance letter and The Transfer Eligibility form to your current school.

5)  Your current school will complete their portion of The Student Transfer Eligibility form and fax back to Albert Career School.

6)  If there are no problems with your current F1 VISA status, your current school will electronically transfer your SEVIS record to Albert Career School.

7)  Based upon your start date at Albert Career School, we will contact you to take a placement test.  This placement test will determine your placement in the ESL leveled classes. You may appeal your placement if you disagree with the level that you are placed.

8)  You must formally register for classes at the school.

9)  Your new I-20 will be issued

10) You are required to attend an orientation session, this is mandatory 
for all students.
